On 13 May 2026, the Fringe Academy is hosting a workshop titled Taking Your Show to Edinburgh Fringe at the SpritzHaus @ SpiegelGardens. It is a practical, in-person session designed for artists who are currently navigating the Brighton Fringe and are considering the logistics of moving their work to the Edinburgh Fringe festival.

The workshop features Martha Haskins, who serves as the Artist Development Officer for the Edinburgh Fringe. The session is scheduled to last for 120 minutes, starting at 11:00 am. The focus is on providing a clear overview of the steps required to transition a production from one festival environment to the other, helping artists understand what is involved in that process. It is a straightforward opportunity to get information directly from someone who works within the Edinburgh Fringe structure.
Regarding the logistics, the event is free to attend. While it is open to the public, the recommended age for attendees is 14 and over. There is also a specific policy regarding children, as the event does not permit 'Babes in Arms', meaning children under the age of 2 are not allowed. If you are planning to attend, it is worth noting these details ahead of time to ensure you are prepared for the session's format and requirements.
