Louise Orwin brings FAMEHUNGRY to the Brighton Dome on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November, both nights starting at 8pm with doors open from 7.15pm. It's a performance art piece that takes the TikTok universe and puts it live on stage, and it's playing in the Studio Theatre.

Orwin describes it as a helter-skelter nosedive through the TikTok world, fusing performance art with live TikTok Experiences. It's made in collaboration with a famous TikToker and plays to two audiences at once: the one in the room and an unsuspecting TikTok audience watching online. She bills it as theatre redefined for the brat generation, and it runs loud, fast, unpredictable, funny and occasionally messy. At its heart, it asks what it means to be an artist now and searches for beauty and hope in the attention economy.

Critics have had a field day with it. The Scotsman called it "a portrait of humanity as it desperately tries to wring love and affirmation from the machine," and The Guardian likened it to "an episode of Whose Line Is It Anyway devised by Marina Abramovic." Orwin also runs workshops and artist talks around the show, and it's toured widely—HOME Manchester, Battersea Arts Centre and The Place London, as well as the 53rd International Cervantino Festival in Mexico, Horsens in Denmark and Spazju Kreattiv in Malta.

Tickets are £20, with £18 concessions and a limited number of £10 low-income concessions. Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival members save £2 on full-price tickets. It's recommended for ages 14+.
