Dinosaur World Live

Dinosaur World Live comes to the Pavilion Theatre on Saturday 13 February and Sunday 14 February, with matinees at 11:30am and 2:30pm both days. It's an interactive family show from NICOLL Entertainment, billed as coming direct from the West End, and it's built around puppetry that brings life-like prehistoric creatures onto the stage. The story follows an intrepid explorer across uncharted territories, and it's aimed at ages 3 and up.

The production has a bit of a pedigree behind it: it won the Olivier Award for Best Family Show in 2024 and has since toured the US, Australia, China and Ireland, along with five UK seasons. That includes residencies at London's Regent's Park Open-Air Theatre, Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre and Underbelly's Wonderground Festival. It was written by Derek Bond, with Max Humphries as puppet designer and Toby Olie as puppetry consultant.

Practical details are worth noting if you're planning a trip. The show runs for 50 minutes, followed by a 15-minute post-show meet and greet, so you're looking at about an hour and five minutes in total. Tickets start from £13.75 plus a £1.75 transaction fee, and with four matinees across the weekend, there's plenty of choice for whenever fits your schedule.
