Improvised murder mystery comedy show with Siobhan Thompson, directed by Alex Fernie, following a sold-out run in Los Angeles.
Siobhan Thompson brings her improvised murder mystery, Denouement, to the Brighton Dome Concert Hall on Thursday 3 June 2027, starting at 19:30. It's the show's first UK appearance, and Brighton is one stop on a six-date run that also takes in Glasgow, Newcastle upon Tyne, Bristol, Birmingham, London and Manchester. Thompson, known from Dimension 20, presents it alongside Live Nation, and the whole thing is produced by Laservision Productions.
The premise is straightforward: a brand-new detective, never seen before, leads the way, and a team of improvisers turn up for an evening of wild characters and ridiculous premises. Because it's improvised, the mystery is built on the night, so the characters and the plot aren't set in stone until they're actually happening on stage. It's a murder mystery comedy, and the comedy comes from the cast making it up as they go.
That cast is a big part of the draw. Thompson is joined by Dhruv Uday Singh, Vic Michaelis, Kimia Behpoornia, Grant O-Brien, John Milhiser, Jacquis Neal, Angela Giarratana, Cathryn Mudon and Ele Woods. They're improvisers known from Dropout, Smosh and SNL, so there's a fair bit of experience on the stage. Alex Fernie directs the show and developed it with Thompson, and the two of them are also in the cast.

Before it hit the UK, Denouement played a sold-out run in Los Angeles, so it's arriving here with some momentum behind it. It's a night of improvised comedy, and under-14s need to be accompanied by a guardian. Tickets are £39.50, £44.50 and £59.50, with Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival members saving £2 on full price tickets. The show starts at 19:30 at the Brighton Dome Concert Hall on Church Street.
