Club night with prog house, techno and psy techno/house at Waterbear.
Deep Transmission are back at Waterbear on Friday 16 October, with their ninth edition titled Deep Transmission IX - 909 - Push the Tempo. It's a club night that sits right in the middle of the city's electronic scene, and if you've been to their previous ones, you know the general territory they cover.
The night is built around prog house and techno, with psy techno and psy house running alongside them. It's a broad enough spread to keep things moving across the hours, and the organisers describe it as a feast of groovy and melodic music. If that sounds like your speed, it's a straightforward one to put in the diary for a Friday night.
Waterbear is tucked under the arches on The Kings Road, so it's easy enough to find if you're already around the BN1 area. The night kicks off at 9pm, and with the prog house and techno as the main draw, it's the kind of thing that works best when you've got a few hours to settle into it rather than just popping in for a quick one.
