Underground drum and bass night featuring Enei, Kasra, Gaia and Mantmast at the iconic Volks Club.
Critical Music takes over Volks on Friday 11 December, with the label's founder Kasra and a full line-up of drum and bass. It's a late one, starting at 23:00, and it's built around Enei's new album launch.
Enei takes the first ninety minutes, working through the new LP. That's a full hour and a half to hear the record in full, rather than just a few singles tucked into a longer set. Kasra follows with his own ninety-minute slot, and Gaia and Mantmast round out the bill. Between them, that's four hours of drum and bass running well into the early hours.
Critical Music has been pushing underground sonic movement to dance floors worldwide since 2012, and the label's following bills it as the best underground label on the planet. The night is staged at Volks, which is regarded as the spiritual home of drum and bass in Brighton.
