Christmas craft workshops for children and adults to make festive spoon puppets, suitable for ages 3 to 11.
Crafty Christmas: Splendid Seasonal Spoon Puppets runs at Brighton Dome on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December, with workshops at 11am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm both days. Each session lasts an hour, and doors open half an hour before each one — 10.30am, 1pm and 3pm. It's a Christmas arts and crafts workshop where children work with their grown-ups to make festive spoon puppets that bring the stories of the season to life.
The puppets can be based on well-known characters like the Grinch or The Snowman, or something entirely conjured up from your own imagination. Once they're finished, there's even the chance to stage a little show to act out over the holidays. The sessions are designed to be relaxed and accessible: all materials are provided, and the team tidies up after, so you don't have to worry about the aftermath. They suit children aged 3 to 11 working with a parent or carer.
