Brighton's longest-running and friendliest new material comedy night featuring professional and semi-professional comics testing fresh material.
Cool-Aid Comedy is back at the Caroline of Brunswick on Wednesday nights this autumn, with a run that stretches from mid-September right through to early December. It's a long stretch of dates, so if you can't make one, there's usually another coming up a week or two later.
The night is built around new material, and that's exactly what you'll get. The format is a brand-new line-up every week, mixing professional and semi-professional comics with competition winners and finalists, alongside brand-new names testing out fresh material in front of an audience. It's a bit of a lottery, then โ some nights you'll see a seasoned pro working through a new set, others you'll catch someone's first few times on stage, and the best part is that the line-up changes every single time. If you've been before, you're not seeing the same show twice.
Cool-Aid Comedy describes itself as Brighton's longest-running and friendliest new material comedy night, and that friendliness is part of the appeal. There's something about a new material night that feels a bit more open than a polished showcase; you're watching the work happen in real time, and the room is strictly over-18s.

That's 15 nights in total, so there's plenty of room to pick and choose. You'll find the Caroline of Brunswick at 39 Ditchling Road, BN1 4SB, and the shows run from 20:00 to 22:00.
