Brighton's longest-running new material comedy night featuring a fresh line-up of professional, semi-professional and new comedians every Wednesday.
Cool-Aid Comedy is back at Caroline of Brunswick on Wednesday 23 September, part of their regular Wednesday night run. It's billed as Brighton's longest running new material comedy night, and the format stays the same every week: a brand new line-up of comics, all working on new material. That's the whole point of the night — you're hearing jokes as they're being written, not the polished sets they'll be taking to the bigger festivals later in the year.
The line-up changes every single Wednesday, and it's a bit of a mix. They pair professional and semi-professional acts with competition winners and finalists, and then slot in brand new comedians alongside them. It means you'll see established names testing out a new bit of writing on the same bill as someone doing their first few gigs. Because it's all new material, the night is as much about the process as the punchlines — you're in the room while the jokes are still being worked out.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Brighton and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
