Cool-Aid Comedy - New Material Comedy Night

Cool-Aid Comedy is back at the Caroline of Brunswick on Wednesday 26 August, part of its regular run of new material nights in Brighton. It's put on every Wednesday by Comedy Cult, and the whole thing is built around the same simple idea each week: a brand-new line-up on stage, with everyone working on new material. If you've been before, you'll know the drill — you're hearing bits of sets that are still being worked through, rather than a polished hour.

The line-up is a bit of a mix, and that's part of the draw. They bring together professional and semi-professional comics, competition winners and finalists, and comedians who are just starting out. Because the bill changes every week, it's hard to say exactly who'll be on any given night, but the mix of experience levels means you'll hear a range of styles in one go. Cool-Aid Comedy describes itself as Brighton's longest-running new material comedy night, and it's one of the few that keeps going every single week.
