A peaceful, led mindful walk in Queen's Park to improve wellbeing, part of the Mindful Community Walks collection.
A Community Mindful Walk is coming to Queen's Park on Monday 26 October, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. It's a peaceful, led walk through the park, with a facilitator guiding the group and a few simple mindful practices to do while you're out in nature. The whole thing takes an hour, and you'll be walking with a friendly, supportive group rather than on your own.
The walk is part of the 'Mindful Community Walks In Brighton and Hove' collection, which is funded by the Brighton Natural Health Foundation, a local charity that supports the growth of mindful movement for all. The focus is on wellbeing, and the session is designed to be accessible: a local, led walk through a familiar park, a bit of mindfulness in the open air, and the company of others. If you've never tried mindfulness before, this is a low-pressure way to get a feel for it.
