Brighton's longest-running Soul and Motown club night returns to the Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel, with a charity event benefiting The Martlets Hospice.
Check Out The Groove! returns to the Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel on Saturday 19 September, starting at 19:30. It's a Soul and Motown club night, and it's billed as Brighton's longest-running one, so it's been around a good while. The organisers describe it as returning with the same old magic, great music, atmosphere and people, and they've found the hotel to be a marvellous setting for their soul sessions.
Beyond the regular club nights, there's a dedicated charity event run under the same banner: the Northern Soul & Motown Sunday Afternoon Dance Party, which raises money for The Martlets Hospice here in Brighton.
