A festive murder mystery evening set on Christmas Eve 1987, where the Smartoys staff Christmas party is disrupted by sinister happenings.
Murder 57 are bringing 'Twas The Night Before Christmas to the Mercure Brighton Seafront on Thursday 3 December. It's a murder mystery evening, so you'll be spending the night trying to figure out who's lying and who's telling the truth while the plot unfolds around you.
The story takes us back to Christmas Eve 1987. The Smartoys staff are gathered for their Christmas party, and CEO Fiona Smartley-Price is celebrating the company's Christmas Number 1 toy, Mouseville Friends. It was the brainchild of her daughter, Siobhan, and it's just hit the top of the charts. Also in the mix is Fiona's fiancé, Noel Thurst, a television executive whose animated series based on the toys has just finished its first run on CBBC. It's a room full of people on a high, and the big question is whether the celebrations will carry on all night or be cut short by something sinister. That's the setup you'll be working from: a toy company party in the late eighties, a hit product, and a room full of people who might not be as friendly as they seem.
