A Thursday night ritual of pop anthems and party bangers from the 2000s, 2010s and now, with DJs spinning wall-to-wall hits.
Cheap Thrills is the new Thursday night ritual at The Black Lion, and it kicks off this Thursday 10 September. It's not a one-off, either โ it's a weekly thing, with the same night running on 17 September, 24 September and 1 October, so if you can't make this one, there are three more coming right after it.
The music is exactly what the name suggests: nothing but pop anthems and party bangers from the 2000s, 2010s and now. The DJs spin wall-to-wall hits, and the night is built around a packed dancefloor and drinks deals aimed at keeping people out 'just one more'. It's the kind of night where you'll recognise almost every track that comes through the speakers, from the early 2000s classics to the chart-toppers of the last few years.
It's billed as The Black Lion's new Thursday night ritual, and that's a good way to think about it โ a regular mid-week spot rather than a one-off event. If you're in the mood for a night of pop and a full dancefloor, it's an easy one to drop into. Entry is free, and it's for over-18s.
