Haunted House Halloween

The Black Lion is turning into a haunted house for one night on Saturday 31 October, with DJs running from 6pm straight through to 3am. It's a Halloween special presented by the venue itself, and they're leaning into the theme: creepy corners, twisted surprises and big Halloween energy. Fancy dress is encouraged, so it's a good one to go all out on if you've already got a costume in mind.

Because the DJs start at 6pm and keep going until 3am, it's a proper long-haul night rather than a quick stop. You can roll in early and settle in, or arrive later in the evening and still have hours to go on. The doors open at 6pm, so the music starts as soon as you're inside. If you're planning to stay for the whole run, you'll want to pace yourself — nine hours of DJs is a fair shift.

It's an over-18s night, so keep that in mind if you're bringing a group. The Black Lion is at 14 Black Lion St, BN1 1ND, right in the heart of Brighton, so it's an easy spot to get to from wherever you're coming from.
