A live string quartet tribute to Ariana Grande performed under candlelight at the historic Royal Pavilion in Brighton.
The Sussex String Quartet are playing a tribute to Ariana Grande at the Royal Pavilion on Saturday 7 November, part of the Candlelight concert series. It's a string quartet taking on Grande's songs, with the room lit by candlelight rather than a full stage rig. The Pavilion is the seaside palace of the Prince Regent, George IV, which John Nash transformed between 1815 and 1823 into one of the most dazzling and exotic buildings in the British Isles.
The setlist pulls from across her career. You'll hear the pop hits 'no tears left to cry', 'Love Me Harder', 'Dangerous Woman', 'God is a woman', 'Into You', and 'One Last Time', alongside 'The Way' and 'Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart'. It also reaches into the newer material, with 'we can't be friends', 'yes, and?', and 'hate that i made you love me' in the mix. All of them played by strings, so the pop production is stripped back to the melodies.
It's a tribute concert, not an official production, so it's not affiliated with or endorsed by Grande herself. Seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis within each zone, and the room is wheelchair accessible. It's recommended for ages 8 and over, with under-16s needing to be accompanied by an adult.

The show runs for 60 minutes, starting at 19:00, with doors opening 45 minutes before. Tickets are £27.50.
