A live, multi-sensory musical experience featuring a string quartet performing songs by Coldplay and Ed Sheeran in the Royal Pavilion.
Candlelight: Coldplay vs Ed Sheeran is coming to the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, with four dates to choose from: Saturday 7 November 2026 at 21:00, Saturday 5 December 2026 at 21:00, Saturday 23 January 2027 at 19:00, and Saturday 13 February 2027 at 21:00. It's a singalong, so you're expected to join in rather than just listen.
The whole thing is built around the songs of Coldplay and Ed Sheeran, played by a string quartet. The organisers describe Candlelight concerts as live, multi-sensory musical experiences, with the performance given in an awe-inspiring setting. The Royal Pavilion is that setting here, so the music is framed by the room as much as the songs themselves. The singalong part means the crowd is part of the sound, not just the audience.
There are a few things to keep in mind before you book. Seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis within each zone, so the earlier you get your tickets, the better your spot in the section you choose. Standard tickets are £27.50 as a guide price.
