Brighton All-Dayer 8 is back at the King & Queen on Saturday 12 September, the eighth edition of the day-long dance session. It's exactly what the name says: an all-day affair that kicks off at 1pm, so it's more of a long afternoon and evening than a late-night one. The music stays in the same territory throughout — soul, funk, boogie and disco — with the DJs swapping over the course of the day.
There are six names on the bill. Arthur Fenn, who DJs across Europe and the UK, and Andy Hook, coming in from Oxford, lead the way. They're joined by Steve Guarnori, Steve Clancy and Andy Dawes, and the day also introduces Jamie Fry to the line-up. With six of them sharing the decks, the music runs from the early afternoon right through to the evening, so you can drop in for a few hours or stay for the whole thing.
