Club night of underground 70s and 80s soul, funk and disco played exclusively on vinyl at the King & Queen.
Brighton All-Dayer 9 is back at the King & Queen on Saturday 14 November, the ninth edition of the club night that's built its name on underground 70s and 80s soul, funk and disco. It's a long one, starting at 13:00 and running through until Sunday 15 November, so it's more of a full day's affair than a quick night out.
Seven DJs are on the bill this time: Jules Barcelona, Alberto Zanini, Madeline Gould, Graham Constantine, Steve Clancy, Andy Dawes and Jamie Fry. The whole thing is played exclusively on vinyl, with records drawn from the UK and Europe, so you're hearing the original pressings rather than digital versions. The focus stays on those underground grooves from the seventies and eighties β soul, funk and disco β rather than the big hits everyone knows.
