A night of Brazilian music and tropical beach party atmosphere with live DJs playing Brazilian Funk, Samba, Pagode, Sertanejo and Forro until the early hours.
Horizon Nightclub is hosting a Brazilian Beach Party on Saturday 19 September, with live DJs playing through until the early hours. It's a night built around Brazilian music, with the DJs working through Brazilian Funk, Samba, Pagode, Sertanejo and Forró, alongside the biggest Brazilian hits and international party anthems. If you're not familiar with the names, it's a broad sweep of the country's sounds: the heavy bass and fast tempos of Funk, the rhythmic swing of Samba and Pagode, the melodic, country-inflected Sertanejo, and the accordion-led dance of Forró. The set moves between them, so you'll hear the dancefloor-focused stuff alongside the more melodic side of things.
Beyond the music, the night is leaning into a tropical beach-party atmosphere. The room is dressed in Brazilian-inspired decor and the bar serves cocktails, and the promoters push that beachy feel as the night's signature. It's the kind of thing that changes the room as much as the music does, so it's not just a DJ set in a dark club.
