A house and techno night at WaterBear featuring local legends and residents, raising funds for Medical Aid For Palestinians.
On Saturday, 7 March, Berlin-Brighton is taking over WaterBear for a night that focuses on the city's house and techno community. This particular session stands out because all the income generated from the night is being directed towards Medical Aid For Palestinians, providing humanitarian support for those affected by the conflict. The music usually covers a broad spectrum, starting with deep grooves and transitioning into higher-energy tracks as the night goes on. It’s a space that generally draws in those who follow the local electronic scene closely and are looking for a straightforward night on the dancefloor.

The line-up for the evening brings together several familiar names from the local circuit. You’ll find Ali, Dubspeeka, Charlene From Neighbours, ÉRIU, Josie Tabb, and Markus Saarländer behind the decks. The event kicks off at 20:00 and carries through until 02:00 at the arches on The Kings Road. As this is a club environment, entry is restricted to those aged 18 and over. The venue itself, located at 169-170 The Kings Road Arches, provides a fairly intimate setting for this kind of line-up, which is often described by regulars as having a consistent energy throughout the night.
If you’re planning to head down, a standard ticket is priced at £8.00. There is also a bit of a cross-over deal for those who might be at the 'Dance For Peace' event at Volks earlier in the evening; if you head over to WaterBear from there, entry is half-price, provided you arrive before the doors for that offer close at 10pm. There’s also an option for 'donation tickets' if you want to contribute more to the charity. However, it’s important to keep in mind that selecting a donation amount doesn't actually count as an entry ticket on its own—you’ll need to have both the donation and a valid ticket to get through the door if you choose that route.
