A thrilling night of adventure featuring a brand-new collection of short films from the world’s most prestigious mountain film festival, including 'Reel Rock: Riders on the Storm'.
The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour 2026 is making its stop in Brighton soon, bringing a fresh collection of short films focused on adventure and human endurance. If you’re into climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, or just the sheer magic of wild places, this is the kind of content that covers expeditions and pushing limits. The event is hosted at the Concert Hall in the Brighton Dome, located on Church Street.

It’s important to note that the festival is split across two separate evenings, each featuring a completely different set of films. The first date is the Red Film Programme, scheduled for Tuesday, February 3, 2026. The show starts at 7:30 PM, though doors open earlier at 6:45 PM. This program includes five specific short films: 'Reel Rock: Riders on the Storm', 'Gabon Uncharted', 'The Finisher', 'Mandala', and 'Emil & Karl: Little Wheels, Big Mountains'. If you plan on attending, remember there is an age restriction: the event is suitable for those aged 12 and over, and anyone under 14 needs to be accompanied by an adult.
If you can’t make the February date, or if you want to catch both selections, the second night features the Blue Film Programme on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, also starting at 7:30 PM. Tickets are available for each program individually. A standard full-price ticket costs £19.50, while concessions or group bookings (six or more people) are priced at £17.50 per ticket. For those interested in seeing both the Red and Blue programs, there is a 2-Film Offer available for £35.00, which works out to the concession rate for both nights. When booking online or over the phone, keep in mind that a £3.50 charge is applied per order, though this fee is waived for members.
