Written and directed by Zoé Badovinac and produced by Zealous Bee Theatre, the play focuses on the final day of the novelist Patrick Hamilton’s life in 1962. The narrative brings together four distinct characters from his various novels, placing them in his Norfolk home to explore their interactions with each other and their creator, while also touching on their specific connections to Brighton and Hove.

The production runs from May 28th to May 31st, 2026. You can catch performances at 15:00 and 19:00, though it is worth noting that the 15:00 show on May 29th has been cancelled. The cast features Ian Angus Wilkie as Patrick Hamilton, alongside Andrew McGrath, Thomas Murphy, Calon Llewelyn, and Katya Stylianou, who portray the characters George Harvey Bone, Ernest Ralph Gorse, Anthony Charteris Forster, and Jackie Mortimer, respectively.
