ARTiculate

ARTiculate is running throughout July and August at The Vault Contemporary Art Salon, 42-43 King Roads Arches, BN1 2LN. It's a gentle creative gathering built around storytelling, simple art-making, reflection and connection, and it's designed for adults looking for a welcoming, low-pressure space to breathe, create and reconnect. You don't need any artistic experience to join in.

The format is straightforward: you come for the story, stay for the making, and leave with something you've made by hand. The storytelling sets the scene, and the art-making follows on from it, so the two work together rather than as separate things. It's less about the finished product and more about the process of sitting and making something while you're there.

There's a lot to choose from over the next few weeks. In July, sessions run on the 16th, 18th, 19th, 23rd, 25th, 26th and 30th. In August, they're on the 1st, 2nd, 6th, 8th and 9th. Every single one runs from 10:30 to 12:30, and they all fall on a Thursday, Saturday or Sunday, so you can pick the day that fits your schedule best. If you're after a quiet morning in the city, it's a good one to keep in mind.

Each session costs £15.00, and since they're spread across two months, you can drop in once or come back a few times. The Vault is tucked into the arches on King Road, so it's easy enough to find if you're around that part of town. 10:30 to 12:30 on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, £15.00 a session.
