Romeo Kennedy of High Shelf Remedy hosts a night of local musicians as part of the Arts by the Sea Fringe festival.
Romeo Kennedy is hosting a night of local musicians at Chaplin's & The Cellar Bar on Tuesday 6 October, starting at 8:30pm. Kennedy is known as part of High Shelf Remedy, and he's taking the lead on this one, putting together a showcase for musicians from around here rather than just playing his own set. It's a night built around the local scene, with Kennedy acting as the host.
The evening is part of the Arts by the Sea Fringe, which is the second edition of the festival. The Fringe takes the core Arts by the Sea programme and spreads it across independent venues throughout Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, so this is one of the stops that puts the festival out into the town's pubs and clubs rather than keeping it in one place. This year's fringe runs under the theme 'ELEMENTAL', and it's put together in collaboration with We Broke Free, the South Coast independent music curators and specialists who have their finger on the pulse of the area's music.

Because it's a showcase, the focus is on the local talent Kennedy has brought together, with the night serving as a platform for musicians from across the region to play. It's a free event, so you can just turn up and listen without needing to book ahead. It starts at 8:30pm at Chaplin's & The Cellar Bar in Bournemouth on Tuesday 6 October.
