A rock night featuring Regional One, Daytura, Disco Lizards and Who's Amy? in celebration of Halloween, with a discount for fancy dress.
Regional One headline The Anvil on Saturday 31 October, the second Halloween Headbanger they've put on at the venue. It's a four-band bill, with Daytura, Disco Lizards and Who's Amy? sharing the stage, all on the spookiest night of the year.
Regional One describe themselves as a live act that fuses the cinematic intensity of Muse with the heavy-hitting edge of Black Stone Cherry, Avenged Sevenfold and Shinedown, and they build their set around that theatrical, eclectic side. Daytura draw on blues and rock roots that call back to the golden era of Led Zeppelin and Heart, while Disco Lizards, a five-piece from East London, blend gritty garage rock with infectious grooves. Who's Amy? are Bournemouth's own horror-punk band, and they describe their sound as a mix of post-hardcore fury, punk attitude, metal bite and dark electronic energy. The night is billed as a gathering of rock bands in celebration of Halloween, and there's a small discount on door tickets for anyone turning up in fancy dress.

Doors open at 7:30pm and the music starts at 7:45pm. Tickets are £10 in advance and £15 on the door, with a 20% discount for fancy dress, so it's worth digging out a costume if you're paying on the night. The Anvil is on Old Christchurch Road, BH8 8EH.
