Haunting Half-Term

Haunting Half-Term runs from Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November at the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum on East Cliff Promenade. It's a week of family Halloween activities, so if you've got kids and are looking for something to fill the half-term break, this is a good one to keep on your radar.

The main draw is the trails. There's a ghost trail to follow through the house and a garden trail to take you outside, and they're both free to do. You don't need to book them in advance, so you can just pick them up when you arrive. Alongside those, there are games for the kids to get stuck into, and drop-in craft sessions throughout the week, which means you can pop in whenever suits you rather than working around a fixed timetable. It's the kind of thing that works whether you've got a whole afternoon to spend or just an hour to kill between other plans.

On the practical side, the trails are free, but you'll need a normal museum admission ticket to get inside the house and do them. The drop-in craft sessions are £4.50 per child.
