Disney's Frozen musical arrives in Bournemouth for the first time, bringing the world of Arendelle to life with dazzling costumes and songs like 'Let It Go'.
Frozen The Broadway Musical is coming to The Palace Court Theatre from 3 to 6 December, its first run in Bournemouth. It's brought to the stage by UYT and aimed squarely at families and young children, so it's one of those things you'll want to plan around the kids if you're taking them.
On stage, the world of Arendelle comes to life with dazzling costumes, enchanting icy scenes, and songs like 'Let It Go'. The music and lyrics are by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, with a book by Jennifer Lee, and it was originally directed on Broadway by Michael Grandage. The production is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
There's a bit of a local story behind the venue, too. The Palace Court Theatre on Hinton Road is owned and operated by Arts University Bournemouth, and the university is currently transforming it into a fully functional theatrical performance space. This run is one of the first things to play there as part of that work.

It runs for four days with six performances in total: Thursday 3 and Friday 4 December at 7:00pm, Saturday 5 December at 1:30pm and 7:00pm, and Sunday 6 December at 12:00pm and 4:00pm. Tickets are between £18.50 and £22.50.
