An eight-hour marathon of hard house and hard trance featuring local and national DJs from the Bournemouth and Dorset scene.
Harder Sounds returns to the Four Horseman Pub on Saturday 17 October, and this one is billed as the last of 2026. It's an eight-hour marathon of hard house and hard trance, so if you're planning to stay for the whole run, you'll want to pace yourself.
The line-up mixes established names with local figures. Aynsley Byrne comes from the legendary Tempo trax, and Seraya and Anthony Smyrk play back-to-back โ both have grown into DJ superstars, producing their own music as part of the mighty Frantic and playing at Ministry of Sound. Brian Holt is a hard house legend who plays across the country, while Matt D is a Dorset regular, involved in local promotions including NOIZECNTRL, No Originals, CHEEKY LITTLE MONKEY and House of the South. Lee Thompson is known as a master of fast hard house, and Craig Selby is a local scene legend, a regular on flyers across Bournemouth and Dorset. J Warne, European Bob and Ash Fowler, also known as Dorset Dave, round out the bill.

Behind the night is Steven Malone, who DJs as DJ Mahoney. He's new to the decks this year and set up Harder Sounds to build a community of ravers, and this marathon is the final one of the year. Harder Sounds is the hard house and hard trance party scene of Bournemouth and Dorset, and this session brings together the veterans and the local names that make it up. With eight hours on the go, it's a long one, and since it's the last of the year, it's the final chance to catch the scene in action before 2027. The Four Horseman Pub in Bournemouth is the venue, and the music runs from hard house through to hard trance.
