A Halloween-themed club night for adults with special educational needs and disabilities, with a Monster Mash theme and fancy dress encouraged.
Diverse Abilities are bringing their Limitless Club Night to Bar Coast on Friday 16 October, from 7pm to 9pm. It's a club night run by the Dorset-based disability charity, set up as a safe and inclusive space for adults with special educational needs and disabilities to dance, listen to music and socialise. The whole thing is built around a seasonal theme, and this one is a Halloween special with a Monster Mash bill. Fancy dress is optional, but they're encouraging it, so if you've got a costume you've been waiting to wear, this is your chance.
One thing to keep in mind: the charity doesn't provide support staff on site, so if you're coming along and need some help throughout the night, you'll need to bring a carer with you. That's a good detail to sort in advance rather than on the door.
If you're planning to make a habit of it, there are two more dates confirmed for the rest of the year: Friday 20 November and Friday 18 December. Both will follow the same format, so if you're after a regular night out rather than just a one-off, you can map them out together. Between the Halloween one and the December session, that's three nights to work with before the year wraps up.
