Summer Friday evening featuring free live music and fireworks displayed from the pier with panoramic views across the bay.
Key West is hosting the last of the summer fireworks on Friday 28 August, the final date in a run that started back on 24 and 31 July. It's part of the town's Summer Bournemouth Friday fireworks, which are watched from the pier with panoramic views across the bay.
Key West is an all-year, relaxed destination sitting at the end of Bournemouth Pier, and the evening starts with free live music. You can eat and drink on the terrace before the fireworks go up, so it works as a full night out rather than just popping over for the display. The fireworks themselves are the main draw, and having the pier as your vantage point means you've got the bay laid out in front of you.

It's a walk-in affair, so there's no need to book ahead. The music is free, and the fireworks are the same. If you're planning to spend the whole evening there, arriving a bit early gives you plenty of time to get a spot on the terrace and settle in before the music starts. The fireworks go off from 8:00 pm, and since it's the last one of the summer, it's the final chance to catch them this season. Key West is at Unit 3, Pier Approach, Bournemouth, BH2 5AA.
