Underwater adventure featuring hundreds of animal species at Oceanarium Bournemouth, with daily feeding presentations, talks, and conservation activities.
Oceanarium Bournemouth is running its summer underwater adventure from 25 July to 6 September 2026, so it's open right through the school holidays and well into the end of summer. It's home to around 200 different species, and you can get pretty close to them. Among the animals on display are sharks, stingrays, a loggerhead turtle, otters, a crocodile, piranhas, clownfish, eels, and a colony of Humboldt penguins.
There's more to do than just walking around and looking. Daily feeding presentations and talks let you see the animals in action and hear about conservation and how to help threatened species in the wild. If you're visiting with kids, there's a Summer Trail to pick up on arrival, a Colouring Corner to get creative in, and daily beach cleans to take part in. It's the kind of place that works as well for a rainy afternoon as it does for a proper day out.

When you need a break, the Offshore Café is on-site for food and drinks, and The Cove Gift Shop stocks a range of unique gifts and eco-friendly souvenirs. The whole thing runs from 25 July to 6 September, so you've got plenty of time to fit it in whenever suits you best.
