Broadway Showtunes

BIGLITTLE Theatre School is bringing Broadway Showtunes to the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on Thursday 16, Friday 17 and Saturday 18 July, with all three nights starting at 7:30pm. It's a big one for them: the show marks the school's 30th anniversary, and they're celebrating it with a cast of over 160 young performers on stage at once.

The set is a broad run through musical theatre, from golden-age classics to more modern showstoppers, so it's less about one particular era and more about the range of the genre. With that many young people involved, it's a proper ensemble piece rather than a small group of leads. The whole thing is backed by a live orchestra of West End musicians, so you've got a full pit sound rather than a backing track, and it's staged by a team of professional directors and choreographers.

Because it's a young cast, there are a few different ticket prices for under-16s and students: £24.50 for Price B, £21.50 for Price C, and £16.50 for Price D. All three nights run at 7:30pm at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre, so you can pick whichever evening works best for you.
