Bournemouth Comic Con 2026

Bournemouth Comic Con is back at the BIC on Saturday 5 September, running from 10am to 4pm. It's the town's own comic con experience, run by Creed Conventions and returning for its third year. The day pulls together comics, film, TV, gaming and anime, so there's a bit for everyone whether you're into one of those or all of them.

On the guest list this time are Craig Charles, Jemma Redgrave, Gareth David Lloyd and Dani Harmer, with other celebrities joining them. You'll find them at panels throughout the day, alongside a gaming zone and a trader area selling collectables, artwork and merchandise. The floor fills with displays and props, too, and local makers get their space here. One that stands out is ToothGuardian, an award-winning Tooth Fairy character inspired by Rise of the Guardians and built by Stuart Ward in his garden shed over nine months, with moving wings, eyes and feathers.

Cosplay is a big part of it. People turn up dressed as their favourite fictional characters and take part in a cosplay parade and competition with three categories: Best Handmade, Best Under-16s and Best Over-16s, with prizes of £30, £15 and £10. For many, the convention has become a family tradition. Tickets start from £9.41, and it runs from 10am to 4pm at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC).
