24 Hours. Keep the Rally Going

The Bournemouth Beach Volleyball Community are taking over Bournemouth Beach on Saturday 22 August for a 24-hour volleyball marathon. The court will be set up near Bournemouth Pier, and the ball won't stop moving for a full day and night.

It's open to players of all ages and abilities, so you don't need to be a pro to get involved. The way it works is simple: you book a one-hour slot and sign up through the Bournemouth Beach Volleyball website. Whether you're a regular on the sand or just fancy a go, you can grab an hour and play your part in keeping the rally going.

All the money raised goes to the Steve Bernard Foundation, a local charity set up in memory of Steve Bernard. It supports sporting projects across Bournemouth, Dorset and the South Coast, and helps people of all ages get into sport. So, when you're out there, you're playing for something more than just the game.

Will Genovezzi, a member of the Bournemouth Beach Volleyball Committee, says the day is about bringing people together and celebrating the local beach volleyball community.
