Young Knives play The Castle & Falcon in Balsall Heath for their 'Voices of Animals & Men' 20th anniversary tour, with support from Hot Face.
Young Knives are playing The Castle & Falcon on Thursday 3 December, as part of their Voices of Animals & Men 20th anniversary tour. The album came out in 2006, so the tour marks two decades since it first landed. They're bringing it to Birmingham on a Thursday night, with doors opening at 19:00 and the music running through to 22:30.
Voices of Animals & Men was the record that put them on the map, and this tour is built around it. If you've followed them since then, you'll know it's the one that defined their early sound, and they're playing it in full for this run of dates. It's a chance to hear the whole thing played through, rather than just a few tracks scattered across a set.
They aren't the only ones on the bill. Hot Face is supporting them, so there's a second act to catch before the main set. The night runs from 19:00 to 22:30, with doors opening at 7:00 PM, which gives you plenty of time to get in and settle before the first band starts.
