Winter Birmingham Anime & Gaming Con 2027

Animeleague are bringing the Winter Birmingham Anime & Gaming Con to Edgbaston Stadium on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 February 2027. It's an all-age event that pulls together anime fans, gamers, comic fans and cosplayers, and it's one of the biggest of its kind in the UK.

There's a full programme to work through over the two days. On the stage side, there's a Cosplay Masquerade, a Lip Sync Battle and a Talent Show, alongside Anime Bingo and a Big Geek Quiz. If you're more into the talking and learning end of things, there are cosplay panels and workshops to get stuck into. For the gaming side, you'll find video-gaming tournaments and more than 100 boardgames and RPGs, with TCG tournaments running alongside. Live bands, performers, after-parties and karaoke are all part of the ticket too, so there's plenty to do after the main sessions wrap up.

One of the bigger draws is the guest list: you'll be able to meet international voice actors and celebrities throughout the weekend. Between that and the sheer variety of activities, it's the kind of thing you can spend the whole weekend at without running out of things to do. It's an all-age event, so it works whether you're coming on your own or bringing the family along.

It runs from 11:30 AM on Saturday 6 February through to 11:30 PM on Sunday 7 February at Edgbaston Stadium, Edgbaston Rd, Birmingham B5 7QU. Tickets are limited, so it's worth getting yours sorted early if you're planning to be there.
