Free workshop for business owners on what drives company value, presented by AND Capital Projects Limited at The Rep Theatre.
What Is Your Business Really Worth? runs at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre on Monday 2 November, from 3:00 to 3:45 pm. It's a workshop aimed squarely at business owners, and it sits within the Business Ownership & Corporate Finance Zone of a much larger day. The session asks what really drives company value, what can erode it, and what buyers and investors actually look for. One of the main points it tackles is why two companies with similar revenues or profits can end up with very different valuations, and how much a business's dependence on its owner affects that figure. There's also a case made for why owners should think about value long before they're actually planning to sell.
The workshop is part of Building Financial Futures 2026, a full day that brings together individuals, families, business owners, financial professionals and community organisations to explore financial resilience, wealth, careers, property, business ownership and long-term financial planning. Because it's part of that wider day, registering for the workshop also gives you access to the day's keynotes, other workshops, marketplace activity and networking. It's presented by AND Capital Projects Limited in partnership with Birmingham City Council and the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS).
