Weezer plays the Utilita Arena Birmingham on The Gathering Tour, with Taking Back Sunday as special guest, to mark the 30th anniversary of The Blue Album.
Weezer play Utilita Arena Birmingham on Friday 21 May 2027, with Taking Back Sunday opening. It's part of The Gathering Tour, which follows the band's 30th anniversary celebrations of their 1994 debut, The Blue Album. The set pulls from more than three decades of their catalogue, alongside songs from their 20th studio album, Weezer, which came out on 21 August 2026 on Reprise/Warner.
That latest record is billed as The Gold Album, the next in the band's long series of colour albums. Produced by Klas Åhlund and Kenny Beats, it sees Rivers Cuomo, Brian Bell, Scott Shriner and Patrick Wilson returning to a more direct 'band in a room' approach. The singles from it are 'Shine Again', 'We Might As Well Be Strangers' (featuring Karly Hartzman) and 'C.E.O.'. Rolling Stone called it one of the best Weezer albums of this century.
