Professional development day for SENCos and inclusion leaders in schools, with more than 25 speakers on SEND provision.
We Love SENCos II comes to Millennium Point on Tuesday 17 November, a full day for SENCos and inclusion leaders. It's the second edition of the event, which first ran in June 2026 at the London School of Economics and brought together around 250 SENCos and inclusion professionals. The organisers are bringing it to Birmingham this time, and they're planning it bigger than the first.
It's aimed at SENCos, inclusion leads, school leaders and trust leaders — the people who hold SEND provision together in schools, and who too often carry huge responsibility with shrinking budgets and growing caseloads. The day is built to offer sharp insight, practical ideas, honest conversation and tools to take straight back into school, alongside the chance to connect with hundreds of fellow professionals. The session opens with a welcome from Jamie Wace, CEO of Talamo, before the keynote 'The State of SEND: How to Adapt to Change'.

There are more than 25 speakers from across SEND throughout the day, including Saqib Bhatti, Phillipa Sherlock-Lewis, Adam Dance MP, Charlotte Clarke and Frankie Bridge. It's a practical day rather than a theoretical one, so the focus is on things you can actually use in your school rather than just listening to a series of talks. The whole thing runs from 08:30 to 17:00, with doors opening at 08:25, and tickets are £20 with lunch included.
