Beginner-friendly workshop on how to use AI for research, creation, analysis and problem-solving to support freelancing and small businesses.
Using AI to Work Smarter, Earn More & Build runs at Birmingham Repertory Theatre on Monday 2 November, as part of a larger city-wide event called Building Financial Futures 2026. It's a practical, beginner-friendly workshop that focuses on what AI can actually do for you rather than how the technology works under the hood. The session is about researching, creating, analysing and solving problems, supporting freelancing and small businesses, turning ideas into products or services more quickly and using AI responsibly. You don't need a technical background or any previous AI experience to get something out of it.
The workshop is one part of Building Financial Futures 2026, a city-wide financial wellbeing event presented by AND Capital Projects in partnership with Birmingham City Council and the Money and Pensions Service. It follows last year's edition, and this year's programme expands the format with a broader mix of keynotes, expert panels, practical workshops, exhibitors and specialist financial zones. Those zones cover the decisions people face at different stages of life, with dedicated areas on financial resilience, personal wealth, business ownership, family and life events, property and careers.
