Free live music session by Under The Covers at The Actress & Bishop in Birmingham.
Under The Covers play The Actress & Bishop on Saturday 7 November, a live music session in the heart of Birmingham. It's a straightforward afternoon of music, with the band taking the stage from 4pm.
If you're not familiar with them, the name gives you the best clue as to what they do: they work their way through covers, taking songs they know and putting their own stamp on them. It's a live session rather than a formal concert, so it's more about the music and the room than a big production. The set is built around those covers, and since it's a session, the focus stays on the playing.
It's a Saturday afternoon slot, so it's an easy one to fit in without having to stay out late. You can drift in after 4pm and settle in for the music, and since it's in the city centre, it's a simple trip in and out. If you're already around Birmingham on a Saturday, it's a low-pressure way to spend a few hours.
