Five-piece cover band The Subterraneans play anthems from Queen, The Killers and Kings of Leon with DJ Pete Sherriff at The Jam House.
The Subterraneans are back at The Jam House on Saturday 17 October, their return to the Jewellery Quarter. The night is built around anthems from Queen, The Killers, Bryan Adams, Keane, Snow Patrol and Kings of Leon, with DJ Pete Sherriff hosting and the band's resident piano and drum duo on the bill. There's also a dinner-and-show ticket available in the restaurant if you want to make a proper evening of it.
Known as The SUBS, they're a five-piece band celebrating their 25th year, specialising in covers of classics by U2, The Killers and Kings of Leon. They've spent more than two decades backing cult punk queen Hazel O'Connor, as well as Toyah Willcox, Carol Decker, Pauline Black, Rankin Roger, Neville Staples and Vince Hill. Their live show is big and lively, with production by Grammy award-winning producer Roger Lomas.
The Jam House itself sits in a Georgian building overlooking St Paul's Square in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter and has been staging live entertainment there since 1999; it was founded by Jools Holland and designer Neil Tibbatt as an unplugged live location.
