Over-18s Halloween night out with immersive production, live performers, music, lighting and special effects.
Living Dead takes over XOYO Birmingham on Saturday 31 October, running through to Sunday 1 November. It's a Halloween night out that the organisers describe as a world transformed after dark, built around immersive production, twisted spaces, live performers and huge music. The production side of things is where a lot of the weight sits: next-level sound, lighting, special effects, CO2 and confetti are all part of the setup, so it's more of a full-room experience than just a DJ set.
That immersive approach is the core of the night. The "twisted spaces" and live performers mean there's more going on around you than just the music, and the CO2 and confetti are the kind of effects that usually only come out at the peak of a big night. It's an 18+ event, and they're strict about it — you'll need a valid photo ID to get through the door, so don't leave yours at home.

Logistically, it kicks off at 23:00 on Saturday night and carries on into Sunday morning, so it's a proper late one. Tickets are £8.00, and the venue is XOYO Birmingham on Lower Trinity Street in Deritend, B9 4AG. If you're heading down, just remember the photo ID — they've made it clear that's a requirement for entry.
