The Jo Baldwin Band

The Jo Baldwin Band play Downstairs at Chas Mann's on Saturday 21 November, from 8:00pm to 11:00pm. It's a full night of live music, presented by the venue, with the band as the main feature. They'll be playing a set of upbeat, high-energy covers, so it's the kind of gig where you'll recognise the songs and probably want to get up and dance rather than sit and listen.

If you're not familiar with them, that's pretty much the whole pitch: high-energy covers. They're a Birmingham band, and this is a Birmingham gig, so it's a local night. The set runs for three hours, from 8:00pm through to 11:00pm, which is a fair chunk of an evening — enough to get through a good number of songs without having to rush them.

Tickets are £11.55 and are sold through Eventbrite. One thing that's worth keeping in mind if you're on the fence is that the venue offers refunds up to seven days before the show, so you've got a bit of breathing room if your plans change. The gig is at Downstairs at Chas Mann's, The Green, Kings Norton, Birmingham B38 8RU, on Saturday 21 November, 8:00pm to 11:00pm.
