The Deceivers - A Live Traitors-Style Immersive Game Night

The Deceivers are coming to The Hub @ Eden Bar on Friday 11 December, a live immersive game night built around the format of The Traitors. If you've watched the show, you know the basic setup: players are secretly assigned roles, and the whole point is to root out the liars among you before they pick you off one by one. If you're one of the liars, your job is to stay hidden and keep the deception going. It's a mix of mystery, mind games and a fair bit of bluffing, with professional hosts guiding each round so you don't have to worry about the rules.

One of the better things about it is that you don't need to bring a full squad to take part. Solo players, couples and groups are all welcome, and you don't need any prior experience with the game to get stuck in. It's as much about the people you're playing with as it is about the game itself, so it works just as well if you're turning up on your own and meeting new people as it does if you're bringing a few friends along.

The night is run by Stirling Murder LTD, who describe it as a luxury experience that pairs the gameplay with a three-course meal, and they run it at venues across the UK. Smart casual or themed attire is encouraged, so there's room to lean into the mood of the evening if you fancy it. It's for ages 18 and over.

It runs from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM on Friday 11 December, with doors opening at 7:00 PM, so you've got half an hour to get settled before things kick off. Tickets are £22.38, and you'll find it at The Hub @ Eden Bar, 138 Gooch Street, Birmingham B5 7HF.
