The Cinelli Brothers, 2026 UK Blues Band of the Year, play their electric blues and soul show 'Electric Blues' at Joe Joe Jims.
The Cinelli Brothers play Joe Joe Jims on Saturday 20 February 2027, their soul and blues sound coming to Birmingham from London. They're a four-piece band, and the set is built around their own original material rather than covers.
At the core are brothers Marco and Alessandro. Marco handles guitar, singing and composing; Alessandro is on drums, backing vocals and arranging. The two grew the band out of a shared passion for the electric Chicago and Texas blues of the 1960s and 70s, and they write in the style of Chess, Stax and Motown. That soul and blues foundation gets a contemporary twist, with The Beatles and Stevie Wonder listed as influences, and they've played across the UK, Europe and the USA. Their album FRESCO is out.
They've picked up a few accolades along the way: they were named UK Blues Band of the Year in 2026 and made Drowned In Sound's 'Class Of 2025 - Must See Live Acts'.
