Underground electronic night with selector Voigtmann at the converted chicken shop Club Colette in Digbeth, strictly 18+.
Voigtmann plays Club Colette on Friday 6 November, with the night put on by SYNC x GHASTLY. He's one of the more respected selectors in the underground scene, known for a deep, rolling and hypnotic sound that's landed him standout appearances at Houghton Festival, FUSE and OffSรณnar. The SYNC x GHASTLY brands describe this as a booking long in the making, finally brought to Birmingham.
The room itself adds to the night. Club Colette is an underground electronic space in Digbeth run by the team behind Mama's, born from a desire to take underground music back to its humble beginnings. It's the second city's smallest room, a converted abandoned chicken shop where the DJ booth sits in the middle of the kitchen. Friday nights there lean towards afro house and hip hop, while Saturdays cover house, techno and minimal. This is a Friday night, so it's a bit of a departure from the usual weekly programming.
