Saint Clair, a dynamic four-piece alternative band from London, perform live at The Sunflower Lounge with special guests.
Saint Clair play The Sunflower Lounge on Friday 16 October, with support from jo from school. They're a four-piece alternative band from London, and this is their Birmingham date.
If you're wondering where they sit, they name-check The Strokes, Supergrass and Catfish and the Bottlemen as their main influences. It's a fair spread of guitar-driven indie: the sharp, angular lines of early Strokes, the bouncy, melodic energy of Supergrass, and the anthemic, singalong side of Catfish and the Bottlemen. Put them together and you get a good sense of what they're after — guitar-led alternative with a pop sensibility and a bit of a danceable edge.
They've been out on the road, too. They've shared stages with Vega Rally, The Youth Play, Tooth and the great leslie, so they're no strangers to the live circuit. This show is strictly over-18s, so keep that in mind if you're bringing anyone along.
