Annual conference for rehabilitation engineers and clinical scientists on developing assistive technology devices, with invited speakers, a hot topic session and an exhibition.
RESMAG26 is coming to STEAMhouse on Wednesday 11 November, the second annual conference for the UK's rehabilitation engineering community. It's run by RESMAG and brings together rehabilitation engineers, clinical scientists, clinical technologists, and technicians, alongside others involved in providing rehabilitation engineering services across the country. This year's event follows an inaugural one held the previous year.
The theme is 'Developing an assistive technology device, how?', and it's aimed at people who develop assistive technologies and bring them to market or into use in the UK. The day opens with invited speakers covering digital manufacturing and the practical application of medical device regulations. Beyond the talks, there's an INNOVATION SPACE and an exhibition space, with around 3.5 hours of contact time across the day. There's also a HOT TOPIC discussion session, with the topic decided by the participants themselves.
